Adventure Days
May 21 & 22
Groups from Preschool through 3rd Grade enjoy interactive entertainment while exploring Story Book Forest,
Jumpin' Jungle, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood of Make-Believe and Raccoon Lagoon Kiddieland. For further

to advance reservation groups. Park is not open to the General Public.

Join us as we officially kick off our 136th Season of Summer FUN!
Outdoor Classroom Program
May 23 & 24
School students in elementary/middle/junior high learn how Math, English, Science, and History relate to the
real world. A self-guided study program involves math equations in respect to rides and games. Language skills
are toned as students write about sights, sounds, and emotions as they experience them. Science and nature
are taught first hand in the natural park setting. Experience Living History at our authentic Civil War encampment
compelete with mock skirmishes, drills with soldiers, and mighty cannon fire. For further information, click here,

WJAC Food For Fun Days, Civil War Re-enactor Memorial Day Salute, & Military Discount Days
May 25, 26, 27
Spend the Memorial Day weekend with us - Members of the Civil War re-enactor group "Carpenter's Battery" will
set up an authentic Civil War encampment. Artillery demonstrations and battle reenactments will be scheduled
throughout each day.

July 4
Enjoy the Holiday with family and friends at Idlewild & SoakZone. Our Fourth of July Fireworks display will take
place at 10:00 p.m. (Weather permitting).
Corvette Car Show and Parade
July 7
Members of the Laurel Valley Corvette Club, in conjunction with the Western Pennsylvania Corvette Club
Council, will display their Corvettes to park guests. The day's events will include a late-afternoon
parade through the center of the park. For enthusiasts of cars, this day is a must-see!

Antique & Classic Car Week
July 8 - 12
All this week, you can take a step back to yesteryear during our Antique & Classic Car Show and Parade.
Classic and antique vehicles will be on display throughout the day in Parking Area C, then cruise through the
center of the park during the evening car parade at 6:00 p.m. If you are an Antique or Classic Car owner
